And so we enter the build up week to our Tournament , and a long time coming it has certainly been .

Before i talk about that i would like to take time to thank you all for a wonderful evening last Saturday , you should all be very proud of yourselves , there were no arguments , no tantrums , no sneaking off drinking alchohol or snogging behind the curtains and nobody was caught being sick in the toilets , so once again well done and you can all come again next year .
Now ive finished addressing the parents and playing staff i would like to address the players . What a wonderful bunch of lads we have , you all conducted yourselves in an exemplary manner and made me very very proud to be your manager . Once again you boys took the coverted 'Golden Glove' award for the most clean sheets of all the mini soccer teams , second year on the trot ! Special congratulations to the individual award winners

Although you should be most proud of what you have achieved together as a team , individually you are brilliant , Together you are AWESOME

now with just 8 days to go until the tournament i am going to be taking a small , well deserved , break . Mick and Mark are going to carry on with the training and really looking forward to the experience . Please carry on with the courteous behaviour which i know you always bring with you on fridays . The twins have some superb ideas to help you guys improve as players individually and collectively so i expect you all to support them and each other .
I will be back for Tournament day and will be in contact with M'n'M before the event starts for training and player reports

Some last minute news which i am keen to pass onto both parents and players is that on Wednesday evening at the Chelmsford Youth League AGM it was voted in that this years Leagie will be a competitve event , which means every game you are playing for points and there will be an official winner declared at the end of the season ! i'm so excited i could race a seahorse . And not only that ! ! ! ! ! you will now be entered into a cup competition as well with an official winner at the end . Ive over excited myself now so i'm gonna hit the hay
