Well, the Champions League Final will be fought out between Manchester United and Chelsea. Strange that two English clubs and their fans will now have to fork out for travel and visas and non-existent accomodation to watch their teams. Wembley is much closer, but I wonder if it is actually any easier to get to? I suppose this means we'll be seeing more and more Chelsea shirts at training now? Whatever happened to picking one club and sticking with it? I've followed Man U since 1974 (I know, most of you weren't even born then!) and never wanted to follow anyone else. Even when they were in the doldrums and not winning anything (yes, there were years of that), I stuck with them. Not a happy time with 2 brothers supporting Liverpool!
I was very disappointed that the CCYFC tournament was postponed, but I don't know too much detail behind that and as Steve, Mark and Stacey have worked their socks off to put in place a mini one, I'll leave them to fill in the blanks. Needless to say, I will be at the front of the queue of volunteers, especially if they need a ref? I just hope I am not too sore from a karting evening I have on the 9th!
See you tonight.
