And so we enter the build up week to our Tournament , and a long time coming it has certainly been .

Before i talk about that i would like to take time to thank you all for a wonderful evening last Saturday , you should all be very proud of yourselves , there were no arguments , no tantrums , no sneaking off drinking alchohol or snogging behind the curtains and nobody was caught being sick in the toilets , so once again well done and you can all come again next year .

Not much to report since my last entry . So instead of writing on the past i'll take an opportunity to write about the future . As you cannot fail to have noticed we have been joined at training over the past couple of weeks by two new faces , Harrison and Liam . Both experienced players in their own rights having played previously for Writtle Minors and Ravens respectively . Both have come to us in the hope to take up the vacancy in the team left by Lewis's departure . I have to say both have been superb in training so far , fitting in well and showing some deft touches .

And so the transfer merry go round continue , finally an answer to the will he wont he saga that seems to have dragged on for months , No not Christiano Ronaldo ! Our very own Lewis Tregent . Unfortunately Lewis has become the second of our squad to decide to play his football elsewhere next season , and as we did previously with Callum we wish Lewis all the very best for his future and hope he remembers his roots when the Premiership debut comes ! ! !

Tournament Feedback

FROM WILVALE RANGERS

Just wanted to say a big thank you to you guys for pulling the tournament together and ensuring the boys were able to play today. I hope I speak for us all when I say considering the lack of time available to organise the event everything was done really well.

So with the sunshine blazing down , not a cloud in the sky and temperatures over 20deg we approach our 'mini tournament' on Saturday . We will be welcoming Ongar Juniors , Galleywood and Wilvale Ranger to fortress Fox Burrows Lane for what should be a mini soccer feast , each team participating gets the ball down and plays superb football encouraged all the way by a friendly crowd . And this is mainly what we hope to bring to the event , friendly football for all the boys to enjoy played in front of a larger crowd than normal who will cheer on each team as one .
