Well your half way through your summer break and i'm pleased to say that i haven't read any reports in the tabloids about any of you doing something you shouldn't or being caught with someone elses girlfriend secretly kissing Jawdropping! . Ive also had no pressure from Real Madrid to release any of you from your contracts or transfer requests to move to your childhood dream club .

i have however got some VERY BIG NEWS to share with you all , parents and players alike , when we meet back training at Carrington (Chelmer) Park on the 29th .

Ole Testimonial

I seem to have slipped to Monday mornings to create my weekly blog, but that means I can include any weekend events in the text. And what a weekend!! As Stacey says in his latest blog, one of the most memorable days ever as Donna treated Stacey, Thomas and I to tickets to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s testimonial. I have been fortunate to have been to Old Trafford on numerous occasions, but it was the first time for both of them and it was a pleasure to attend with both of them.

Well yesterday Thomas and i had one of the most memorable days of our lives , along with veteran Mick we visited Old Trafford for 20LEgends testimonial match against Espanyol . A wonderful day was had by all , we played our part in a massive 69000 crowd and yours truly showed off my soccer pundit skills when interviewed for Nowegian Television . We have photos and videos of the day which i will endeavour to upload here for you all to see .

Too Hot!

Hi. Sorry this is a little late, but I have been tasked with sorting out production problems where I work, which has meant extra work and staying late. This has meant that I've not had a chance to write a blog until now! Not that there is very much to write about. It's too hot, so a bonus that we're not training or playing right now!

I had a chance to watch the 3 Manchester United friendlies in South Africa - no, I didn't go out there - and I was impressed with some of the youngsters that featured.

Stadium Training & Bowling

A couple of events happened yesterday and both well attended. The first was the meet and greet with the first Team. It was a shame that there was a lack of communication over the event, although we learned that this was down to the main club. Thank you to all of you for your patience and co-operation. We managed to get some photos done with some of the First Team, but on top of that, some of us managed to get some Team photos out on the pitch. These will soon be available on the Website.

A Referee's View...

The Clarets versus parents match this evening was played out in poor conditions, with the sun shining all day, but deciding to disappear and rain arrived. However, it didn’t seem to dampen the enthusiasm of the two teams or the mass of spectators, who were equipped with umbrellas and rain gear.

The Clarets won the toss and chose to kick off, defending the Clubhouse End. An even start to the half, with some good possession enjoyed by both teams. The young legs of the boys worked very hard and used the wide open spaces, playing lovely football to feet.
